In this quarterly technical and regulatory update, Aaron Dunn explores the impact of the finalised Treasury Laws Amendment (Fair & Sustainable) Bill 2016, along with the ATO's recent law companion guidelines to understand how the Commissioner will apply the transfer balance cap rules, along with CGT relief. In addition, this session discusses the release of ASIC's Information Sheet 216, which looks at the AFS licensee requirements for accountants providing SMSF services.
